New Nigerian Redesigned Notes

President Muhammadu Buhari has unveiled the new naira notes.

Buhari unveiled the new currency notes on Wednesday morning before the federal executive council (FEC) meeting at the state house, Abuja.

The new naira notes were introduced by President Muhammadu Buhari this morning, on November 23. At a ceremony conducted at the presidential palace in the nation's capital, Abuja, the new currency notes, including the N1,000, N500, and N200 notes, were on exhibit.

As the CBN's chief spokesperson stated, he will make the funds available to the general public on December 15 so they can begin using them.

Similarly, the old naira notes will cease to be valid from January 31, 2023

People have reacted to the new bills released by the Nigerian government.

The people of the country have already begun to express their disapproval of the new funding provided by President Buhari's administration. Some people feel that the color of the currency is inappropriate because it will be difficult to spot their fakes, despite the fact that many people prayed to God that this would be good and a sign of the value of the country's currency recovering.

Zakariyya Gambo responded:

"GOD has made us so that God will increase the rich wealth in our country."

"Anyone who has old money should ask for the goods and withdraw his money until they return like this."

 Abdullahi Malah wrote:

"Oh my, God help me, Anawa to see the truth. There is a question about the color of this new one. There is no good change between it and the old one. I am afraid that some bad people are killing the people of the village. They cannot tell the difference between the old and the new because the color of the murder is the same. God forbid."

Han Ny Ijanada said:

"Fake money will circulate more than the original because this color will make it difficult for people to recognize fake money."
