In addition, for the first time in 92 years the ceremony was opened by recitation of a chapter of the holy Qur'an . This was so expected considering Qatar being an Islamic Country.
Moreover, regarding their culture of being an Islamic State there have been uproars regarding Europe's hypocrisy and racism on wanting to forcefully take their own culture to a foreign Country which has it's own culture that negate theirs. For them to go there for a world cup of 28 days and trying to forcefully change the country's culture is also a sign of lack of respect to the Hosting Country.
Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Ansar the Director of Logistics at Qatar's Ministry of Interior, Chairman of National Counter Terrorism Committee said in an interview .
“I cannot guarantee the behavior of the whole people , Here we cannot change the laws. You cannot change the religion for 28 days of World Cup.”
In response to all the uproars , the FIFA President Gianni Infantino also slammed European's with their act by saying:
"We are told to make many lessons from some Europeans, from the Western world. I'm European. I think for what we Europeans have been doing for 3,000 years around the world, we should be apologizing for the next 3,000 years before starting to give moral lessons to people.
"How many of these European companies who earn millions and millions from Qatar or other countries in the region -- billions every year -- how many of them have addressed migrant-worker rights? I have the answer: none of them because if they change the legislation it means less profits.
"But we did. And FIFA generated much, much, much less than any of these companies, from Qatar.
All I see is when you are in a new community don't discriminate them by forcing them into your own standards.
In response to that they got a perfect substitute called Jung Kook of member of the BTS to come and give a performance for the opening ceremony of the world cup. On calling up Jung Kook a lot of males particularly weren't happy because, most males aren't K-Pop fans and considering BTS a K-Pop band had a lot of "beef" with them. But surprisingly his song DREAMERS by Jung Kook saved the world cup songs released in 2022 in becoming the official favorite of the fans after his performance. Males who had a "beef" on them actually came out on social medias such as Twitter, Tik Tok apologizing their misunderstanding about them and hailing up the song that outshined all the WORLD CUP SONGS released this World Cup.
Though there was a song too that was famous, World Cup song by IShowSpeed it also had a lot of appreciations by fans lead to many world cup related videos using his song on Tik Tok most especially. IShowSpeed also got appreciations from the fans
In conclusion, upon all the ups and downs faced before the kick off of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, It started successfully and all countries are wished best of luck on their race
